In 2022, academic and personal scholarships for Ukrainian students of higher education institutions will increase by more than 1,5 times. For recipients of professional education — more than 2,5 times. Corresponding changes are provided by the draft State Budget for the next hour.
If this year 3,9 billion hryvnias were allocated for scholarships, then next year this amount will be more than 5 billion hryvnias.
From January 1, students will be paid such ordinary scholarships:
- bachelors, specialists, masters - UAH 2000 (advanced - UAH 2550);
- students of technical schools, colleges, lyceums - UAH 1510 (upgraded - UAH 1930);
- students of professional technical schools - UAH 1250.
The academic scholarship of the President of Ukraine increases to UAH 2750 - 4400, depending on the type of educational institution.
Named and academic scholarship from the Cabinet of Ministers - up to 2500 — 4000 UAH.
We will add that, in addition to the increase in scholarships, 2022 billion hryvnias have been allocated to teachers' salaries in the budget for 108. Of these, an additional 8,4 billion was allocated for salary increases.
