Unfavorable weather conditions in Odessa led to ice. At night, it began to rain in the city, which, due to the low temperature, began to freeze on the streets. As reported in the city economy department, at 5 o'clock in the morning, the workers of the municipal enterprises of Odessa with special equipment went to the streets of the city in order to prevent the collapse of transport and the injury of pedestrians.
Also, the mayor's office complained that the owners of shops, enterprises, the management of departments, OSMD and residential housing companies practically do not participate in the fight against ice, although they should do it - according to the rules of the city's improvement.
"Unfortunately, the owners of shops, enterprises, various departments, OSMD and ZhSK practically do not participate in the fight against ice, although according to the rules of improvement of Odessa, they should do it. We will resort to fines," the department said.
