Non-children's pranks: near Odessa, a sixth-grader mined a store

The student's mother will be responsible for the misdeed.

In the city of Yuzhny, Odesa Region, a sixth-grader decided to play a prank after school and reported to the police that an explosive had been planted in one of the stores of the shopping center. This was reported by the press service of the police in the Odesa region.

The investigative and operative group, rescuers and doctors arrived at the scene. The personnel of the institution was evacuated. About 50 shopping mall visitors were also evacuated.

No explosives or explosive devices were found during the investigation. But after some time, the law enforcement officers found out that the store was "mined" by a 12-year-old schoolboy. He explained his actions by the fact that he wanted to see how the special services work.

"The police informed the mother's ego about the guy's antics. The woman was stunned by her son's behavior, because she had never had a problem with him," the message says.

The phone was taken from the teenager. The boy's mother will be held administratively liable for improper performance of parental duties, the police said.
