21-year-old tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya from Odesa performed unsuccessfully in the first round of the main draw of the WTA 250 tournament in Adelaide (Australia). Her opponent was Tereza Martyntsova from the Czech Republic, who is ranked 48th in the world (Yastremskaya is currently 99th).
The girls spent 2 hours and 16 minutes on the court and managed to play three sets. But their result turned out to be deplorable for Yastremskaya. In the deciding set, the Ukrainian immediately let her rival go ahead (0:3), after which she did not earn a single break point until the end of the match.
