By the local elections, which will be held on October 25, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Ukraine may increase to 360 people. This was announced at a meeting on Thursday, August 27, by the head of the National Security Service of Ukraine, Aleksey Danilov, the department's press service reports.
The beginning of the school year and the holding of local elections are among the factors that can increase morbidity.
"As of October 25, according to the pessimistic scenario, we will have 360 thousand cases of infection, and we must be ready for this," Danilov said.
He noted that at the beginning of the school year and the beginning of the election process, it is necessary to organize monitoring of the dynamics of social contacts of patients with coronavirus in the period from August 29 to September 10.
