The introduction of additional restrictions in Ukraine for Easter is not planned. Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported this on his Facebook page.
"I understand how important it is for Ukrainians to celebrate this bright day according to traditions. And it is important for me that these celebrations take place in compliance with all safety rules," he wrote.
And he noted that, despite the fact that the peak of the pandemic has passed and even the capital after April 30 will probably move into the "yellow zone", it is too early to relax.
"I don't want us to have another spike in morbidity right after the holidays. Therefore, I urge Ukrainians to continue to adhere to the established anti-epidemic rules, wear masks correctly, because this is not an amulet - it will not protect you in your pocket," said the head of the Ministry of Health.
And he called to avoid crowded people and celebrate in a narrow family circle. And the church - to create all the conditions for the safe visit of churches by believers.
