The next year promises to be lucky for Odessa "Chernomorets": the new owner will invest 5 million dollars in the club

The current president of the club, Leonid Klymov, will formally remain his president until the end of this season.

Next season, the Odessa football club "Chernomorets" will have a new owner. He became the Ukrainian millionaire and businessman Boris Kaufman. This is reported by TaToTake.

It became known that already in 2022, the new owner of Odessa "Chernomorets" will spend 5 million dollars on the club. This money will be used to pay off debts and develop the team.

According to our sources, the current government obliged Kaufman to buy the Odessa football club so that he could transform it. Thus, Volodymyr Zelensky wants famous Ukrainian clubs in different cities to actively develop. This is a vivid example of how the internal presidential vertical in the country works successfully.

The current president of the club, Leonid Klymov, will formally remain his president until the end of this season.

According to EliteExpert, one of the first important decisions of the new management will be the return to the football club of the legendary coach of "Maryakov" Roman Hryhorchuk, who worked at the club from 2012 to 2014 and led "Maryakov" to the playoffs of the Europa League.

Today, the Odessa team is not going through the best of times. According to the results of the autumn part of the season of the Championship of the Ukrainian Football Premier League, the team took 13th place out of 16 clubs.
