Singer Olya Polyakova calls on representatives of the music industry to come to a rally against the coronavirus restrictions on the organization of concerts. A protest action with the participation of Ukrainian stars is planned for tomorrow, September 3, near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in Kyiv.
— I, Olya Polyakova, am addressing the entire music industry, all artists. I, like you, have been in a state of hidden depression for several months now, due to the deep idleness in our business. There is no work, there is nothing to pay the team, and there is still a general expectation that everything will be fine soon, - said the singer.
Polyakova emphasized that the subway, shopping centers, and cinemas are open in Ukraine, but artists have to wait for approval for their activities from the government.
She was outraged that her autumn concerts were canceled and added that she did not intend to remain silent. As a result, the singer called on all representatives of the music industry, from singers in restaurants and cover groups to popular stars of Ukrainian show business, to come tomorrow to the government building.
— Tomorrow, from 11 a.m. to 13 p.m., my colleagues and I will be near the entrance to the Cabinet of Ministers to sign an appeal to the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister. The requirements are simple: to bring order to the issues of organizing concerts without violating, discriminating the rights of performers and organizers, she summed up.
