On October 11, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court elected Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov as a measure of suppression in the form of a bond in the amount of 30 million 213 thousand. 300 hryvnias, which he must pay within five days.
The suspect has the following procedural obligations: appear at every request of the investigator, do not leave Odessa without permission, notify the investigator of a change in his place of residence, refrain from communicating with the witnesses specified in the court order, and also refrain from visiting the premises specified in the order courts
In addition, Trukhanov needs to hand over his passport for traveling abroad and other documents giving the right to leave Ukraine to the relevant state authorities.
As a reminder, NABU accuses Trukhanov of participating in a large-scale land scam. As the investigation established, the members of the criminal organization, in collusion with other persons, developed a mechanism for the illegal possession of assets - funds from the local budget and land of the territorial community of Odessa (hereinafter - OTS) for its further transfer for development. As a result, during 2016-2019 OTG lost at least six land plots with a total area of 15,9 hectares and illegally spent UAH 131 million from the local budget. The total amount of damage in these episodes, according to the results of the examination, amounts to UAH 689 million.
