The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan, was hospitalized with a new strain of coronavirus.
This was reported in the press service of the president.
"The President of the Republic of Armenia, who contracted a new type of coronavirus disease and was treated at home, is hospitalized. The disease occurs in a severe form. President Sargsyan has symptoms characteristic of this condition — high fever, bilateral pneumonia," the message says.
