An An-26 aircraft crashed in the Kharkiv region this evening.
The plane crashed on approach. In addition to the crew, there were cadets of Kharkiv University of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on board the plane.
It is confirmed that the plane crash happened at 20:50 at a distance of about 2 km from the military airport. The plane belonged to military unit A 4104 of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
According to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, 22 people died, two more were seriously injured. A total of 28 people were on board.
