The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the head of the Kharkiv District Administrative Court for taking a bribe. This was reported in the SBU press center.
According to the preliminary investigation, the official exerted pressure on one of the judges to issue the necessary court ruling in the administrative case on the land issue. For the judge's "correct" decision, the head of the court handed over 3. US dollars.
Law enforcement officers continue urgent investigative actions to establish other possible facts of corruption and the involvement of court employees in them. The issue of notifying the head of the court of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Offering, promising or providing an illegal benefit to an official) is resolved.
