Ukraine has joined the European Union sanctions against Belarus due to the falsification of elections and violation of human rights.
Let us remind you that the EU is developing the third extended package of sanctions against the Belarusian regime. This time, the measures will affect not only individual officials, security forces and other civil servants guilty of repression.
The new sanctions will be of an economic nature and will be introduced against businessmen close to Lukashenko and some private and state companies.
It is noted that the current sanctions list of the EU includes about 50 names of people involved in the violent seizure of power in Belarus. Sanctions against them include a ban on entry to the territory of the EU, as well as the freezing of personal accounts, if such are found in European banks.
