The president assured the businessmen of the absence of threats

There is nothing new in the troops at the border — it's psychological pressure, the president assured

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at a meeting with representatives of business circles - members of the European Business Association, assured that there are no threats that would prevent business from working.

"The accumulation of troops at the borders is psychological pressure from our neighbors. We do not see anything new in this. As for risks, there are risks and they have not ended since 2014. The question is the degree of these risks and how we react to them," the head of state said.

He assured that the authorities are doing everything possible to strengthen the defense capability and be able to react to any development of events, and that the country has "enough forces and weapons to adequately defend our state without involving anyone except the military."

Zelensky noted that international partners and allies have also intensified their activities in support of Ukraine, which is connected with the large number of visits by world leaders. Therefore, the issue of security should not affect the country's functioning.

The President emphasized that the economic situation in Ukraine is currently stable, which is reflected in the strengthening of the hryvnia.

"Everyone understands what kind of neighbor we have, but this should not affect the economy," Zelensky said.
