Today, at a government meeting, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced that starting on March 14, Ukrainians who have received booster vaccinations will receive 500 hryvnias each as part of the "eSupport" initiative. Changes to the "eSupport" program were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers at the meeting.
Shmyhal noted that the functionality of the program will also be expanded. Ukrainians over 60 years old and people with disabilities of groups I and II will be able to spend this money not only on travel, fitness, movies or books, but also on medicine or paying for housing and communal services.
Also at the government meeting, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that senior citizens and people with disabilities of groups I and II will be able to pay covid money for utility bills as early as February. And the period of using payments for all categories of citizens was increased from 4 to 9 months.
