"Emergency vaccination can only be recommended by a doctor during an examination or consultation. Not Google, not a girlfriend, not Facebook. After all, the doctor will take into account all the factors related to the state of health and chronic diseases of a particular patient," — the message says.
In which cases emergency vaccination is required
Tetanus Received injuries with violation of the integrity of the skin and mucous membranes, frostbite, burns, penetrating injuries of the gastrointestinal tract, animal bites, etc. can become reasons for emergency vaccination. But on the condition that there was no vaccination according to the calendar or if more than 5 years have passed since the last vaccination.
Tale. People who have been bitten by wild animals or animals with suspected or confirmed rabies are subject to mandatory emergency vaccination. Even minor scratches and bites by an animal are a reason to consult a doctor.
Measles. Emergency vaccination can be given to children and adults who have not been vaccinated or who have not had this infection, after contact with a sick person.
The National Health Service emphasizes that if you or your child are not vaccinated against diphtheria, measles, hepatitis A or B, chicken pox, you should consult your family doctor about further actions after contact with a sick person.
