The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia named the conditions for de-escalation of the situation on the border with Ukraine. This was reported by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
According to her, the main requirement is the removal of foreign military instructors and weapons from Ukrainian territory, as well as the refusal of scientists from NATO.
"The joint exercises of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces and NATO countries will be terminated, as well as the removal of all previously delivered foreign weapons to Kyiv outside Ukrainian territory," Zakharova said.
Zakharova called NATO's rejection of the open door policy another condition. She suggested that Ukraine refuse to join the Alliance and return to "non-aligned" status. At the same time, Zakharova referred to the 1991 declaration on the sovereignty of Ukraine.
Zakharova did not explain why Russia violated all existing international agreements with Ukraine in 2014.
