If the records are to be believed, the Americans demanded over the phone from Poroshenko to remove Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, blackmailing him with a billion-dollar loan from the IMF. They also put forward conditions for raising utility tariffs in Ukraine and lobbied for the nationalization of Privatbank. In addition, Poroshenko and Biden discussed the introduction of people from the Americans to important government positions.
Also published was a conversation between Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putnyk, who, despite the conflict between the two countries, had a fairly friendly conversation, congratulated each other, and so on.
