The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Vladimir Zhmak as the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsa. This is not a new person in the transport sphere. Moreover, in his time - under the governor of Odesa Region, Mikhail Saakashvili, he was the first deputy head of the OAS.
Recently, Zhmak was a member of the supervisory board of Boryspil airport. Until 2015-2016, when he worked as the first deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, he held senior positions in the Russian TNK-BP group, which was one of the ten largest private oil companies in the world in terms of oil production.
Zhmak was also an adviser to the president of Kyivstar, responsible for the development of new business segments and was a member of the supervisory board of this company.
