The epidemic situation in Ukraine is worsening. The gradual increase in the incidence of COVID-19 continues for the fourth week in a row. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Coronavirus Info".
The current situation with the spread of the coronavirus is still under control, but the level of hospitalizations already exceeds discharges by 18%.
"Currently, the Sumy, Ternopil and Kherson regions show an increase in the detection rate by 4%. The most critical situation is in Odesa, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The total growth of hospitalizations in these regions is 100% of the total growth in Ukraine," states the KSE Center for Health Economics.
At the same time, Ukraine continues to increase vaccination, but this is not enough. According to experts, it is necessary to speed up vaccination twice in order to reach the figure of 70% of the vaccinated adult population by the end of 2021.
