The government of Slovakia temporarily closed the border with Ukraine due to the increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus. About this on Saturday, November 7, reported State border service of Ukraine. Due to this, the Slovakian checkpoint Velek Slemence will be temporarily closed from November 9 at 09:00, while Malye Selmentsy will be closed on the Ukrainian side. Also, the registration of pedestrians at the Slovakian checkpoint Ublja, on the Ukrainian side - Maly Berezny, is stopped. At the Vyshne Nemetskoe checkpoint, on the Ukrainian side - Uzhgorod, residents of Slovakia will be allowed through from 08:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m. All those entering Slovakia are required to undergo a coronavirus test and self-isolation, during which they must take an RT PCR test on the fifth day. Only those who are going to Slovakia in transit are exempt from taking the test. Freight vehicles will be allowed through without restrictions.
We remind you that previously the restrictions on movement of the residents of Slovakia were extended. Those who received a negative result of the PCR test during nationwide testing will be able to live relatively freely from Monday.
