The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, predicts new special operations in 2024 that will cause even more damage to the enemy. He told about this in an interview with the "ICTV" TV channel on the broadcast of the "Edyny Novyni" marathon.
"Let the Russians wait for the next cotton ... We never repeat ourselves and if they (the Russian Federation) change their defense in relation to our naval drones, we are, of course, one step ahead. Everything has its time, you will see everything." — announced Vasyl Malyuk.
He told what contribution SBU employees make to the victory. "This is clearly evidenced by our results. To date, since the beginning of the war, 809 tanks have been successfully destroyed. This is all according to the video confirmations. In addition, other armored vehicles, REBs and so on. It's right on the front line." Vasyl Malyuk noted.
Working with long-range drones, the SBU divided its teams and means of impression for different distances, starting from the front line and continuing deep into the territory of the Russian Federation for more than 120 km. In this way, the special service has already attacked 13 refineries in different regions of Russia, because the aggressor replenishes his budget for waging war by exporting oil products.
Among the successful operations of the SBU is also the impression of the A-50 radar aircraft at the Machulyshchi airfield in Belarus.
Vasyl Malyuk also said that the first special operation to blow up the Crimean bridge with the help of a truck with explosives was being prepared from March to October 2022. At that time, up to 46 enemy trains with weapons and ammunition passed through this logistical corridor per day.
To hit the bridge for the first time, the SBU used improvised explosive devices (21 tons of TNT equivalent), which were camouflaged under rolls of film, and for the second time - naval drones.
Both special operations were aimed at cutting Russian military logistics on the instructions of the President of Ukraine. And after their implementation, the Crimean bridge does not function for the transportation of military cargo.
"There are damaged supports and the so-called "bulls" on which they stand. When they are restored, maybe, potentially, they (the army of the Russian Federation) will still start to draw their ammunition again, then we will once again say "hello" to them. — predicts Vasyl Malyuk.
So, at sea, the special service successfully works with sea drones "Sea Baby" and "Mamai". With their help, it was already possible to hit 11 ships of the Russian Federation and unblock the Black Sea.
Today, these drones are used not only in kamikaze mode, but also for other tasks. They are unique developments of the Security Service of Ukraine, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
