The Ministry of Health reduced the period of self-isolation. After 5 days from the date of the appearance of symptoms or receiving a positive test, self-isolation can be completed. The main condition is the absence of symptoms.
The department notes that in this case, it is not necessary to do a PCR test to complete self-isolation.
"At the same time, if less than 5 days have passed, and you have received a negative PCR test result, this is also a reason to end self-isolation," the Ministry of Health said.
We note that earlier mandatory self-isolation lasted 10 days — that is, from the moment symptoms appeared or received a positive test result, 10 days had to pass and another three days, during which there should be no symptoms of COVID-19.
