Today, a new light V-24-I aircraft was presented at the Odessa Aviation Plant, which is planned to be used for the organization of air taxis.
As reported by Vladimir Otreshko, a representative of the producer company Softex-Invest, the two-engine four-seater aircraft is intended for passenger transportation, sightseeing and commercial flights.
"The plane is completely designed by our designers and manufactured at Ukrainian enterprises," Otreshko noted.
V-24-I can accelerate to a speed of 310 km/h. The maximum flight range is 1350 km.
They want to work on the pilot project on the Odesa-Kyiv flight. According to preliminary estimates, a round trip will cost 400 dollars.
If the project can be implemented, the air taxi fleet will have two aircraft - a 2-seater single-engine VP-12 and a 4-seater twin-engine V-24, as well as two helicopters - a 2-seater and a 5-seater W-2 and V-52. All of them are made by the Softex Invest company from Brovary.
