The employees of "Infoksvodokanal" who arrived at the site shut off the water to eliminate the leak. However, they had to stop there. Some Odessa businessmen "thought of" to install a number of MAFov directly above the main water supply. Of course, they did not receive any approvals from the water company.
Now, in order to reach the place of damage and eliminate the accident, it is necessary to dismantle non-agreed trade objects. But first, the owners of MAFs must remove the goods and equipment, bring in special equipment for dismantling and break the powerful concrete bases of the stores, which do not allow excavators to carry out excavation. All this will take at least a few days... Meanwhile, several thousand residents of the Kotovskogo housing estate remain without water. And employees of the water utility are racking their brains over possible options for solving the problem - after all, you won't open the water, because there will be a flood, and you don't want to leave residents without water because of negligent entrepreneurs.
Unfortunately, in Odessa, more than 100 different objects - shops, pavilions, cafes, service stations, and even parking lots - have been installed above the water supply and sewage networks without coordination with the water supply company. Most of them are installed on a concrete foundation, which creates an excessive additional load on the water supply. That is why over time there are emergency communication breakthroughs like today. Their elimination takes a long time. As a result, consumers left without water suffer, and the water utility suffers material damage.
Recently, residents of Akademika Vlyamsa Street, Balkovskaya Street were without water due to the MAF, and today the turn has reached Dobrovolskogo Avenue. The employees of "Infoksvodokanal" intend to conduct a complete inventory of all objects illegally placed above the water supply and sewage engineering networks in the near future, and to submit a petition for their demolition
