The representative office of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, together with the human rights organization "CrimeaSOS" and the Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights, presented the chatbot CrimeaIsUAbot (t.me/CrimeaIsUaBot) in Telegram. This is reported on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
The chatbot was created for citizens living on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. With its help, they will be able to get typical answers to frequently asked questions.
So, CrimeaIsUAbot allows you to get instant 24/7 consultation on the registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, birth and death certificates in the occupied territory, up-to-date information on the procedure for crossing the checkpoint. And this is with sample documents to fill out and the opportunity to sign up for a queue for submitting documents.
The chatbot will be placed on the websites of specialized state bodies and public organizations. The list of current questions to which you can get answers will be supplemented.
The Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Republic of Crimea noted that, despite the temporary lack of access to the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, it is important to have contact with Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories.
"The state should create tools that could bring administrative and other services as close as possible to Crimeans. And it's not just about the fact that you can now visit the CPAU right on the administrative border. We are working on the introduction of online services," the representative office noted.
Some services and consultations on their receipt can already be partially translated into electronic format. The electronic queue for submitting documents for obtaining a biometric passport or ID card of a citizen of Ukraine, concluding a declaration with a family doctor is already functioning.
At the same time, work continues on the online submission of documents for marriage registration, online notary, documents for travel to temporarily occupied territory for foreigners and documents for registration of acts of civil status, including those born in temporarily occupied territories.
Also, work continues in the direction of developing the online submission of documents to institutions of higher education for children from the occupied territories.
