On May 18, the Supreme Council of Justice approved the detention of the ex-head of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Knyazev, who is suspected of receiving a $2,7 million bribe.
Thus, the Supreme Council of Justice satisfied the appeal of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office regarding Knyazev's choice of preventive measure in the form of detention.
14 members of the VRP voted for the decision. Note that the meeting took place in a closed format, as Knyazev insisted.
Now SAP has sent a submission to the High Anti-Corruption Court on the appointment of a meeting to choose a preventive measure. Vsevolod Knyazev himself was present at the VRP meeting.
Recall that the head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Vsevolod Knyazev, was detained for a $2,7 million bribe.
