The team of the Charitable Foundation "Noble Cause" and its head, Serhiy Shutov, started a new initiative - providing firewood to residents of a number of Odesa Central Districts.
As you know, thousands more migrants from the south of Ukraine have recently arrived in Odesa region, fleeing the war. That is why the local authorities of some OTG turned to the Fund with a request for help - people are in dire need of firewood or stoves. Due to the fact that the cold will come very soon, this issue had to be resolved as soon as possible, and the volunteers coped with this challenge with dignity.
This week, two trucks full of 45 cubic meters of oak wood went to the village of Kulevcha in the Sarat region, which were distributed to local residents who were in dire need of it. Almost five dozen families, each of which has 4-5 people, received pallets of firewood, so you can no longer be afraid of the onset of cold weather.
In addition, on October 20, benefactors sent another ton of humanitarian aid to the Sarat district.
Volunteers did not miss the Tartuin OTG, which they have been helping for eight months. More than 150 food packages and 45 food kits for displaced people, pensioners and disabled people were sent there.
Soon, the team will go to Tarutyny again: if everything goes as planned, the settlers and local residents will receive about a hundred stoves.
As always, the priority of the Fund is to help the defenders of our country. Next week, the volunteers will go to the front line again, bring dry rations to the boys, as well as what our heroes have repeatedly asked for - the sleeping bags they need.
