On Friday, October 21, a charity fair was held in the Kurisov community for the Day of the village of Kurisov, the Day of Defenders of Ukraine and the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks in support of the Armed Forces.
The event was very solemn and colorful, among the guests: People's Deputy of Ukraine Stepan Chernyavskyi, First Deputy Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Oleg Radkovskyi, deputies of the Bereziv District Council, representatives of the Bereziv State Central Committee and SP, the Bereziv Regional State Emergency Service, the head of the Ivanovo Settlement TG and soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade.
"We thank each and every one for their active participation and investment in this wonderful event. UAH 204 was collected at the fair, these funds will go to support our soldiers, who every day at the cost of their lives knock out the enemy from the territory of our mother Ukraine," said the head of the community Valentyn Hryhorzhevskyi.
At the charity fair, community residents and guests could buy goodies, culinary products and souvenirs from local schoolchildren, housewives and entrepreneurs. A festival of local folk art groups was also held.
Oleg Radkovskyi, the first deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, thanked the community for an important event to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Our glorious soldiers defend Ukraine from the enemy and are successful at the front, and I am sure that we will definitely win. Peace and harmony to us all. Glory to the Heroes!", Oleg Radkovsky noted in his welcoming speech.
Singers and dancers of all ages performed at the music festival, which is important in the difficult times of war to maintain the general spirit and mood of the people.
