The "Ajalyk" Charitable Foundation took on an extraordinary mission and responsibility for evacuation of children from the front-line zones of the Kherson region. These children, who are forced to face the reality of war every day, got the chance to spend at least a few months in Poland, far from hostilities.
Interaction with the Kherson military administration helps determine which children are most in need of evacuation. Their stories are heartbreaking: some of them lost their homes, others were forced to hide in basements from shelling.
Evacuation of children is not only a matter of safety, but also of psychological health. Many of these children have experienced trauma that can affect their future lives. Therefore, the "Ajalyk" fund is not limited to physical evacuation, but also provides them with the necessary psychological support.
