Ukrainians who arrived in Slovenia in connection with the war will be able to use public transport in the city of Ljubljana for free until March 4, 2024. the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia.
To do this, you need to contact the central office of Potnicki center LPP at the address: Slovenska cesta 56 to issue an annual Urbana name card. This card will allow you to use city transport for free for almost a year.
To issue an Urbana card, Ukrainians must present one of three documents:
- temporary protection card ("iskaznitsa");
- a decision on temporary protection and an identity document;
- a decision on the status of an asylum seeker and an identity document.
Thus, from April of this year, free travel in the public transport of the capital of Slovenia will be provided only to those citizens who have a named annual card with them. The specified travel document must be composted every time you enter the transport.
Importantly. The benefit does not apply to suburban connections.
