In Russia, more than 3000 people were detained at rallies in support of Navalny

About 300 of them are children

In Moscow, the police released nine children who were detained earlier during protests in support of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. In total, law enforcement officers detained 3 people, including about 181 children.

"Six children were released from the Department of Internal Affairs in the Fila-Davydkovo district, three more were taken by their parents from the police department in the Presnensky district," Kuznetsova said in a comment to RIA Novosti.

She added that according to preliminary data, about 300 teenagers were detained in Russian cities during the rallies, including 70 in Moscow and 30 in St. Petersburg. Kuznetsova said that law enforcement officers violated the rights of children and held them for more than six hours. At the same time, the police did not feed them or give them water. All the children confirmed it.

In addition, according to the four children released from the Department of Internal Affairs in the "Fily-Davydkovo" district, they did not participate in the actions, but simply walked around the center at that time.

According to the latest data from "OVD-Info", the total number of people detained at actions in support of Navalny in the cities of the Russian Federation has grown to 3. 

The leader of the anti-rating in terms of the number of detainees was Moscow (1), where the largest mass action was held. It is followed by St. Petersburg (220) and Novosibirsk (481).
