As of Saturday, January 23, the increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus continues to decrease in Ukraine. More than 70% of places in hospitals for patients with Covid-19 are free. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Health.
So, at the moment, only 28,7% of places for patients with Covid-19 are occupied in Ukrainian hospitals. The busiest medical facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region — 40% of places are occupied, while in Kyiv, 30,4% of beds in hospitals for patients with coronavirus are occupied. In total, 66 beds for such patients have been introduced in the country.
At the same time, the incidence of Covid-19 in Ukraine exceeds the norm by more than 5 times, the current rate is 204,5 infected per 100 population, and the rate of 40 people is considered the norm. The worst epidemiological situation in the Zaporozhye region is 360,3, in Kyiv - 305,7. The best situation is in the Kirovohrad region — 83 patients per 100 population.
