In Armenia, the ruling parliamentary faction "My Step" offers the opposition, which demands the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to oppose the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
About this with reference to the faction's statement transmits "Interfax" on Thursday, November 12.
"Prior to the discussion of the legality of the agreement on ending the Karabakh war, we suggest that the opposition declare that they oppose Russian mediation, advocate the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from the conflict zone, and agree to continue the war," the statement says.
The opposition forces, according to the faction, must also present a "road map for achieving victory in the renewed war."
The ruling party also added that they consider the tripartite agreement signed by Pashinyan "an opportunity to avoid the complete loss of Artsakh - Nagorno-Karabakh - and thousands of human victims."
"We are confident that the public should receive answers to all the questions that concern it. At the same time, we are not going to participate in meetings that can destabilize the situation and endanger the front and the people at the front," the statement added.
As a reminder, on November 9, Baku, Yerevan and Moscow signed an agreement on a ceasefire from 00:00 local time on November 10. One of the points of the application was the introduction of peacekeepers of the Russian Federation.
