The chain of hypermarkets "Epicentr", which, based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, must close within the framework of the weekend quarantine, decided, apparently, to joke about this on social networks.
"Attention! Introducing 72-hour Friday. We have products, medical products, medicines, and animal feed. We are bringing in fuel," Epicenter wrote on its Facebook page, implying permission to operate gas stations.
Taking into account the fact that this trading network worked during the last quarantine, when the rest of the stores were closed (which caused outrage among many Ukrainians), our citizens did not understand the humor and criticized the "joke" in the comments.
Later, the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov reacted to the statement of "Epicenter".
"You want to be brave, you want to play a farce on people's health. If you want to be brave, go to the intensive care unit together and do it in front of people who die every day... In front of doctors who fight for people's lives," he said.
Stepanov also expressed confidence that his colleagues from the Cabinet of Ministers will respond to this "joke".
