On the Russian TV channel NTV, in the context of the second round of elections, which will be held on November 15, the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, was harassed, which was noticed by political scientist Dmitry Levus on Facebook.
According to him, the TV channel is playing along with People's Deputy-OPZZhshnik Nikolay Skoryk, however, this will not help him win the elections.
"Trukhanov's victory seems easy and obvious. It's not just about the frankly weak positions of Skoryk, although they have been strengthened by the frankly propagandistic Russian TV channel. Trukhanov did the impossible. He did not let Odessa split. Considering the political diversity and interest in Odessa of a large number of financial and industrial groups, one must be a political tightrope walker in order to pass and maintain balance in the city of a million people. Therefore, for the electorate, Trukhanov secured for himself the status of a certain Odessa "pope", who will not let children be offended and will send the offender where he should go," writes Dmitry Levus.
