The Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine recognized wrestler, 2021 Olympic champion Zhan Beleniuk as the country's best athlete at the end of the year. This is reported by the official website of ASZHU.
The best sportsman of the year was chosen by 12 members of the expert council of ASZHU. Each of them formed their own top ten. The athlete received 10 points for the first place, 9 for the second place, and so on.
According to the voting results, Beleniuk received 113 points. Earlier, Beleniuk entered the list of the most influential Kyivites in the National rating "Elite of Ukraine-2021".
