Odesa "Infoksvodokanal" is completing the installation of a new water pipeline, as a result of which some residents of Bolshoy Fontan and Dacha Kovalevsky will be without water for more than a day. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
Currently, "Infoksvodokanale" is carrying out a large-scale replacement of worn and emergency networks. Today, the company is actively working on one of the main waterworks, which provides drinking water to residents of parts of the Kyiv region, Bolshoy Fontana and Chernomorka. This pipeline has reached its operational limit, and so that residents do not suffer from frequent accidents and are disconnected, it is being replaced with a new one.
It is planned to replace about 3500 meters of water pipe from Orekhovaya Street to Lvivskaya Street. Works are carried out in several stages according to the enterprise's investment program. A modern trenchless laying method is mainly used, which allows to minimize excavation, disconnection of services and inconvenience for consumers.
The other day, specialists have already completed the second stage of work, during which they laid about 1600 meters of a new water pipe along Dolgoi Street. Earlier, 1060 meters of the new pipe was already laid along Maria Demchenko Street (from Orekhovaya to Academician Williams). Now, instead of the old cast-iron pipe with a diameter of 600 mm, water will be supplied by a new one - a polyethylene one, which has a service life of more than 50 years.
Moreover, during the laying of pipes, "Infoksvodokanal" installed new shut-off valves, fire hydrants, equipped wells and cameras.
In order to put the new line into operation, it remains to switch the newly laid water pipeline into the existing water supply system, as well as connect all subscribers to new pipes.
In this regard, please note that in order to carry out the above works from 9:00 a.m. on September 7 to 12:00 p.m. on September 8, the water supply to consumers on the following streets of the city will be suspended: Tymyryazeva, Lustdorfskaya doroga, 177-233, Dolgaya, M. Demchenko, 2 -32, 1-29, Rybachya, S.Yakhnenko, Magnitogorskaya, Khudosota Fedorova, Ofitserskaya, Ak. Gamaleya, Pisareva, I. Timchenko, Eniseyskaya, Almaznaya, private sector - Staraya Viljamsa, 2-48, S. Eisensteina, Baikalskaya, Dacha Kovalevsky, N. Gumileva, Dachnaya, Fontanskaya doroga, 92-118a/1, Makarenko, Aprikosovaya, Orekhovaya, Pskovskaya.
At the next stage, the section of the water pipeline from Teplichny Pereulka to Lvivskaya Street will be replaced. In this way, residents of Dacha Kovalevsky and Bolshoi Fontan will be able to receive high-quality and uninterrupted water supply services.
