In the village of Novye Sanzhary, Poltava Region, the first case of a coronavirus infection was recorded six months after the riots associated with the evacuation and observation of Ukrainians.
According to "Suspilne Poltava", the head of the regional laboratory center Andrey Hailov announced the relevant information.
A local resident of retirement age who was resting in one of the western regions of Ukraine fell ill.
No other cases of the disease have yet been identified in the village and district. At the moment, all districts of the Poltava region are in the "green" quarantine zone.
