The heating season in Odessa started on November 1, but almost a month later, thousands of Odessa residents are freezing at zero and sub-zero temperatures at night.
In particular, more than half of the residential buildings in the city center belonging to the Porto-Frankivsk residential community are still without heating.
As residents of these houses told ElitExpert, they worry most about children and pensioners. Many have caught a cold from the constant cold - which is doubly dangerous when the country is raging with COVID-19.
At the same time, quite recently the head of KP "Teplosnabzhenie gorodas Odessy" Anna Pozdniakova reported on the 100% readiness of the enterprise for the heating season, but, as it turned out, her words were not entirely true.
"We were waiting for heating at the beginning of November, but it was not provided on time. Then we heard Pozdniakova's statement that the heat was about to be turned on, and we hoped for it, decided not to panic... But three weeks have passed, and we are still freezing, and now every day it is getting stronger, because the cold has come. As a result, we were deceived," said ElitExpert Gennady Svetlichny, a resident of the house on ul. Bazaar.
At the same time, according to Alexei Asaulenko, a deputy of the Odessa city council, a member of the deputy commission on housing and communal services, there are many minor accidents in the city today, due to which the necessary pressure is not supplied to the batteries.
"At the beginning of the week, there were more than 20 accidents in the heating system in the city. There were many accidents on Aleksandrovsky Prospekt, and, accordingly, the adjacent houses were without heat. Also, the main problem area is Starobazarny Square, where they promise to allocate 90 million for the repair of heating networks and putting the square in order. Although this has been talked about for 2-3 years," explains Alexey Asaulenko.
We would like to ask the management of TSO: "who is to blame for all this disgrace?" and get a true answer, but in vain.
