On July 19, after the abnormal heat, Kyiv was covered by a downpour with a stormy wind. The metro stations "Beresteiskaya" and "Akademgorodok" were closed due to flooding. Several tram, trolleybus and bus routes were also delayed.
The downpour first moved along Zhytomyr highway and Sviatoshyn district. Then she moved to the center.
At the Beresteyskaya and Akademgorodok metro stations, water got into the halls, so the stations were closed for entry and exit. Specialists are currently working on the site.
