A passenger bus burst into flames in the middle of the Odesa-Kyiv highway near the village of Troitskoy, Odesa region. This is reported by eyewitnesses.
It is noted that the bus was completely filled with passengers.
The bus caught fire in the engine compartment. Smoke quickly spread throughout the cabin.
Fortunately, the passengers and the driver managed to run to the side of the road.
"The open fire was extinguished in the engine compartment, but the entire interior was full of smoke... Passengers were left to wait on the highway," eyewitnesses said.
The causes of the fire are unknown.
