SBU exposed a neo-Nazi group led by "Hitler"

He distributed Tarrant's "manifesto" with appeals and instructions for committing terrorist attacks

The Security Service of Ukraine stopped the activities of the neo-Nazi terrorist group, followers of the Australian terrorist Brenton Tarrant, in Kyiv. This was reported in the SBU press center.

In the course of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the leader of the group is an attacker nicknamed "Hitler". Through electronic means of communication and messengers, he organized a conspiracy network for mass distribution of materials, in particular Tarrant's "manifesto" with appeals and instructions for committing terrorist attacks on racial and religious grounds.

The "Manifesto" was also specially translated into Ukrainian and Russian and distributed in the form of a printed edition, which repeatedly caused sharp criticism from the foreign policy departments of Australia and New Zealand.

According to the results of conducting a complex of investigative actions, including appropriate examinations and searches, law enforcement officers obtained evidence of the involvement of "Hitler" in criminal activities. The operatives also seized printed editions of the "manifesto", communication devices and office equipment, which were used to distribute terrorist materials and neo-Nazi symbols.

Investigators informed the leader of the group that he was suspected of committing a crime stipulated by two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Article 27 (Types of accomplices) and Part 258-2 (Public incitement to commit a terrorist act). The question of choosing him a measure of restraint is being resolved.

Earlier it was established that several people from the neo-Nazi environment took an active part in the activities of this group, one of whose leaders was a Russian citizen, SBU officers detained him in the summer of 2020 in Kyiv. A foreigner was declared suspected of committing a crime, provided for in Art. 258-2, article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosive substances).

Let us remind you that in March 2019, the neo-Nazi ideologue Brenton Tarrant killed 51 and wounded 40 Muslims in the mosques of the city of Christchurch in New Zealand. The terrorist conducted an online broadcast of the execution of peaceful believers, and before that he distributed the so-called "Big Change" manifesto on the Internet. In it, Tarrant called for terrorist attacks against representatives of other races and religions.
