Britain warns Putin not to use a terrorist attack in the Russian Federation to intensify the war, — The Telegraph

Russian media spread fake videos with Ukrainian officials

Great Britain warns Russian President Vladimir Putin not to use a terrorist attack near Moscow as an excuse to escalate the war. It is reported The Telegraph.

A senior British security source says that Putin's desire to blame Ukraine is not surprising, as he is trying to further deceive the Russian people by pretending that there is no disagreement within Russia.

"He (Putin, — ed.) should not use this fabricated connection as any pretext to intensify his illegal war in Ukraine." - sources say.

The head of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, Alicia Kearns, said that Russian media had spread fake videos of Ukrainian officials in an attempt to blame Ukraine and give Putin an excuse for further atrocities.

"There are no signs of any connection (terrorist attack, — ed.) with Ukraine, as well as no credible grounds to assume their involvement." she said.

Recall that on the evening of Friday, March 22, in the city of Krasnohirsk in the suburbs of Moscow, several armed men in camouflage committed a shooting in the Crocus City Hall shopping center.
