Dozens of World War II shells are being lifted from a sunken ship near Odessa

Shells are raised to the surface daily.

In the waters of the Black Sea near the resort village of Lebedevka in the Odesa region, explosive objects are being lifted from a ship that sank during the Second World War. Sapper divers have already inspected 18 square meters, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"Since June 7, 49 artillery shells of 75 mm caliber, 5,7 thousand blasters and 12 units of other explosive objects have been seized," the message says.

It is clarified that shells are raised to the surface daily.

Eight specialists and two units of special equipment were involved in the work.
