The Verkhovna Rada gave all Ukrainians 1 hour for mandatory declaration of income

The so-called "zero declaration" is introduced.

The Verkhovna Rada gave the residents of Ukraine an hour to voluntarily pay for assets that were not previously declared. At a meeting on Tuesday, June 243, 15 People's Deputies approved draft law No. 5153, which introduces the so-called "zero declaration".

One-time (special) voluntary declaration of assets of natural persons will take place in the period from September 1, 2021 to September 1, 2022.

The voluntary declaration fee is a one-time mandatory payment, the amount of which is calculated by the declarant independently, based on the value of the assets owned by him, taking into account the rates of such a fee.

The state intends to receive 5% of the assets placed on the accounts of Ukrainian banks; 9% for those placed abroad, 2,5% of the value of government bonds purchased between January 1, 2021 and June 20, 2022.

Those citizens of Ukraine who have not exercised the right to voluntary declaration will be considered to have informed the controlling body of the absence of assets in their possession, received at the expense of income, from which taxes and fees have not been paid or have not been paid in full.

At the same time, the draft law defines categories of citizens who will not be able to use the right to voluntary declaration.
