Seven masked young people attacked the office of the LGBT Association LIGA in Odesa late in the evening on May 29. This is reported on the page of the public organization LGBT Association LIGA on Facebook.
The incident occurred at approximately 21:48 p.m. The attackers broke two windows in the premises rented by the organization with stones and damaged one of the video surveillance cameras.
The LGBT community noted that all this is happening after the attack by right-wing radicals during the premiere of the documentary called "Let's be gay! Dialogues about dignity!" in Kyiv on May 27 and two incidents that occurred on May 29. We are talking about when representatives of the organization "Tradition and Order" simultaneously broke into premises in Kyiv and Odessa during the Fem Talks thematic event: "To be a feminist?", which was organized by the public organization "Insite".
"We are waiting for changes and active actions from the National Police in the investigation of criminals in Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Odessa. The time has come when the Ukrainian government must ensure the safety of all members of society, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or other characteristics," the LGBT community said in a statement.
