President Volodymyr Zelensky during a trip to the Donetsk region on Friday, July 30, introduced the new commander of the Joint Forces Alexander Pavlyuk.
"It is with great pleasure that I would like to present to you the new commander of the Combined Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a knight of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky II and III degrees, lieutenant general, combat officer, patriot of Ukraine Pavlyuk Oleksandr Alexeyevich," Zelensky said.
"It seems to me that his presentation on such a day, on the day of the liberation of our Ukrainian city (Avdeivka) in the Donbass, is a good sign, a symbol of hope that free and peaceful life will come in other temporarily occupied cities and villages in the east of the Ukrainian land ", he added.
