Acting Prosecutor General Aleksey Symonenko signed a petition for the arrest of ex-president and leader of "European Solidarity" Petro Poroshenko. This was reported by sources of the "Glavkom" close to the Prosecutor General's Office.
The deposit was set in a record amount — 1 billion hryvnias. At the same time, Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova is also in Kyiv, but it seems that she went on vacation for this particular period.
Petro Poroshenko is now on a diplomatic visit to Europe, he has promised to return to Ukraine in January.
