The head of the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party, David Arakhamia, announced the replacement of five Ukrainian ministers at once.
As Arahamiya said at a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada, personnel reshuffles will take place in the near future.
The "Servant of the People" plans to appoint the current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Alexei Reznikov to the position of head of the Ministry of Defense instead of Andrei Taran.
In turn, the vacated ministerial seat of Reznikov will be occupied by a people's deputy from "Servants of the People", ex-candidate for mayor of Kyiv Iryna Vereshchuk.
Pavel Ryabykin, the head of the customs service, will be appointed as the new minister of strategic industry instead of Oleg Uruskoi, who resigned.
The chair of the Minister of the Environment, Roman Abramovsky, should be occupied by his current first deputy, Ruslan Strelets.
And instead of Alexey Lyubchenko, they want to give the post of Minister of Economy to Yulia Svyridenko, the deputy head of the Office of the President.
